Ron Gaj, ISHC, Principal

Ron Gaj, founder of the Delta Telecomm Company, brings over 35 years of experience to the table. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering from Devry University after serving in the United States Navy. During his enlistment in the Navy, Gaj worked in the United States Naval Security Group where he held a top secret special intelligence security clearance, and whose duties included providing service to the White House.

Gaj's managerial positions have included Central Office Manager at Illinois Bell Telephone; Supervisor of Telecommunications at International Harvester Company; Data Communications Manager at First National Bank of Chicago; and Telecommunications Manager with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Gaj's extensive experience includes project management at Illinois Bell, International Harvester Company, First National Bank of Chicago, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation

Some of Gaj's notable accomplishments include the design and installation of data networks for the First National Bank's Visa® Credit Card Division to conduct automatic credit card authorization; performed change over of Illinois Bell Central Offices with a minimum of 40,000 lines at a time; was one of the architects of the International Harvester voice network, which at the time was the largest private voice network in North America; and at Hyatt Hotels was the designer of the data network which initiated their automatic reservation system.

History

DTC was established in 1981 as an independent telecommunications and technology consulting firm. In 1996 it broadened its services to include virtually any communications related system from security and infrastructure to wired and wireless high speed internet access, providing one-stop shopping from project management to ongoing monitoring.
