Low Voltage Cable Design

Our certified engineers retrieve all available information from the client's Information Technology Staff and building architects to understand the current and future cabling and connectivity requirements. We also identify the existing and future space requirements of the IP/PBX-LAN and Server equipment rooms. Included is a review of the site utility incoming facilities for the capacities and compliance with the requirements of the client.

All designs are in compliance with:

TIA/EIA - (Telecommunications Industry Association) (Electronics Industries Association) 568-B.1, B.2, B.3, 568A, 569, 606, and 607.
NFPA - (National Fire Protection Association).
ISO/IEC 11801 - (International Organization for Standardization) / (International Electrotechnic Commission).
All Local Codes and Ordinances.
We include the layout of the cabling infrastructure for a wireless LAN Access Point (AP) distribution system for each floor and/or radiating antenna. (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n Compliant).

 

Our engineering staff includes highly qualified BICSI-certified designers (Building Industry Consulting Service International) whose areas of certification include RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) and LAN Specialists. Our engineers are designated PE (Professional Engineers) and are licensed in 27 states to perform all critical power electrical design.

DTC will perform telecommunications Certification (on-site testing) on cable infrastructure.

DTC will provide critical power distribution design on UPS and generator systems.
